I'd been curious about Crossfit for some time but also intimidated. I'm fairly fit but felt that Crossfit athletes were a cut above my fitness. And never mind all those weights! I'd never lifted weights seriously, didn't know the terminology or techniques. 

The Six Week Challenge popped up on my FB feed so I decided to fill out the questionnaire, go see Greg at Crossfit Tally and satisfy my curiosity. Turned out to be a great decision. Greg and Teresa Keeter are qualified and patient coaches for athletes at all levels. They are careful to watch each participant and gauge fitness and ability, then scale each workout accordingly. New moves and skills are taught and monitored for safety. 

Moreover, this Crossfit facility is like family! It's a welcoming, encouraging group that makes you feel you can succeed and you can progress in your goals, whatever they may be. I'm no longer intimidated now. In the four months there, I've gotten so much stronger, which was my primary goal.
