Ashtanga uses a comprehensive set form that addresses the entire body in one session—unlike CrossFit’s constant variety—and links postures together with a flowing, core-centric movement called a vinyasa. Vinyasa's are similar to the pass-through done on gymnastic parallettes in CrossFit but are performed on the floor in Ashtanga.
